Providence Park

Providence Park is a 50-acre planned community to the south of Little Rock that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for individuals coming out of chronic homelessness. It is a place of hope, grace and empowerment where the residents will have resources and a sense of community to help them get back on their feet. Every person deserves a chance to live with dignity and respect regardless of personal circumstances.

PCE is honored to partner with Providence Park, knowing what a difference this community will make in the lives of its residents.

The Free Library

A Community Bookshelf will be available to all residents and guests at Providence Park through PCE. It will be located near the bus turnaround and will be installed, stocked, and maintained by PCE volunteers .

A Labyrinth on the Grounds

Working with the landscape architects, PCE is helping design and fund the labyrinth that will be built close to the chapel. Labyrinths are known to be places of introspection, meditation and contemplative prayer; the Providence Park labyrinth is designed to be a healing tool, helping residences experience a deep grounding and sense of place. Regular facilitated walks and other activities will be scheduled through the Park’s spiritual life team.

PowerUP Project

This project is unique to PCE. Seeking donations of iPads from the community, PCE is working with the Apple Store to have them reset to factory standards. The iPads will be given to the residents in a workshop setting for them to keep. Imagine having access to friends and family members, job applications, music and entertainment. This is a wonderful project that costs nothing.

To Get Involved

Donate an iPad by contacting Gael Hees at (501) 554-1283.
